English flowers, sustainably styled…
Shropshire has always been home. As a mother, grandmother and lifelong Shrewsbury resident, I've spent my life surrounded by the countryside, communities and changing seasons that make this corner of the world so special.
Seven years ago, I moved to Oak Cottage, a beautiful listed property nestled amongst magnificent oak trees. It was here that the inspiration for my business name began to take shape, alongside a growing desire for a new direction in life.
… from the Oak Cottage Garden.
That journey led me to floristry. After studying at Shrewsbury College, I continued my journey with Tallulah Rose Flower School, where I discovered a more natural, seasonal style of floristry that truly resonated with me. From this, joining Flowers from the Farm, growing in my garden and allotment, and working alongside local growers deepened my appreciation for British flowers and transformed the way I create.
Today, my work is inspired by the gardens, hedgerows and countryside that have shaped me throughout my life. I love getting to know my customers and creating flowers that feel personal, meaningful and connected to the seasons.
“Thank you for the most beautiful flowers…Everyone commented on them and said they’d never seen nicer flowers, and that was so true.
You’re amazing and they were more than the vision I had … spectacular. Everywhere I looked there was colour. ”
